This idea has been running through my head for awhile ever since I told my BFF about what designing. From there she has been after me to create a kit based on our childhood. We are complete opposites, I was a tomboy she was a diva lol! We have been friends our entire lives, been to hell and back and then some. Her family was a big staple in my life even when we moved around and were seperated. She now lives in Louisiana but we talk every single day and we have this kind of friendship that is unexplainable. Some days we pick up the phone to call each other and the other one is on the other line already..kind of scary lol! I love her to pieces and this kit is completely dedicated to our friendship.

When we were little she was constantly dressing me up, playing tea party and bossing me around! LMAO! I made good use of a ton of templates and scripts in this one and pretty proud of it. Every single paper is different and some elements I threw in are the same but just different colored just to change it up and break up the pink. So I'd say 85 elements are completely different. Its a huge kit...and I really love it.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and for it I created this kit that went as a collab for Twilight Scraps. Now it is a freebie for all of you :) Domestic Violence is something that involves everyone. Whether you are a survivor, a family member, or know someone who has been through it, you have been involved. This kit "Hope" goes to the lighter side of DVA, it shows the Hope, love and trust that it takes to over come the obstacles of abuse. It shows the freedom in that hope and the knowledge of being set free. My brother and I are both Survivors as was our Mom. This holds such a close part to my heart, more so than almost any other kit. As a kid, you go through so much and question so many things. You go on wondering what you did to deserve it. Not knowing it was never your fault. As an adult I still struggle with many feelings, but the brightest feeling is the one of knowing that through all of I still have my freedom. Something no one will be able to take away ever again. I had a request to make a full size Tommy Turkey template so I thought I would give it a try :) In the process of re "drawing" him..he turned out kind of different lol. So on this one you have the option of making Tootie into Tommy by changing his beak and removing the bow :) This is a ftu CU and PU template :) No credit is required but is very much appreciated as always!
